Katie and Matt are seriously the sweetest couple ever!! Katie is a kindergarten teacher and Matt is a registered nurse, so that should give you some insight into how giving and caring they are. My whole Family fell in love with them when we went apple picking for their engagement session in Charlottesville, Virginia. They were originally going to be married this June but decided they were spending too much money and too much stress on wedding planning and it wasn’t fun for them anymore. So they did a complete 180 and decided to change ALL of their plans and get married at Katie’s Aunt’s home in Carrollton, Virginia, in December. Katie’s Aunt Shirley is a master of decor, and whipped up a beautiful Christmas wedding with little notice. Everyone pitched in to make sure that Katie and Matt’s Christmas wedding was perfect. I loved all the little details they had, like ornaments for the couple that the guests could sign, and a photo booth with cute Christmassy props. Katie and Matt had a great day celebrating with the ones they love and it was truly a reflection of what is important to them. And it goes to show you that you don’t have to go into debt to have a wonderful wedding and to make memories! Congratulations you two! It was an honor to be part of such a special day!
