Christian and Samantha met through Samantha’s Sister Courtney. Courtney and Christian met when they were stationed together in the Navy. She mentioned that she and was from Washington State and had a Sister. When Christian received orders there, he contacted Samantha…but she was living in Texas at the time. After talking for a few months online, they decided to meet. Samantha flew to Seattle, where Christian had a full days worth of activities planned. They decided then that they wanted to be together…and distance would never be a factor! A little more than a year later, Christian proposed at the Dallas World Aquarium, in front of the flamingos. Not long after, Christian got stationed in Norfolk and Samantha was focused on finishing college and planning a wedding long distance was a real challenge. They decided to get married at the courthouse and have a reception when they get back on the West Coast for their Family and Friends. So, I was lucky enough to meet them on their wedding day to photograph them right after they got married! It was a real honor to meet them both! I wish you two nothing but a lifetime of happiness!
