I was so excited to shoot Katie & Eric’s Engagement session at the Smartmouth Brewery in downtown Norfolk Virginia, last weekend. They met through Match.com and had their first date at the Taphouse. Eric says “Beer has always been central to our relationship!” 🙂 I LOVE it!! Katie told me that Eric was not thrilled about doing the Engagement session and Eric admitted that he expected it to be an 8 out of 10 on the pain scale. But after having a few beers…he even was nice enough to volunteer to retrieve the ring after it fell in one…he said that it actually turned out to only be a 3 on the pain scale. And I will take that as high praise. Jay and I had a blast meeting them and sharing a delicious beer (after we were done shooting of course) and I can’t wait for their March wedding! They are both great people, full of fun and laughter and I can’t wait to see them get married! It’s going to be the perfect start to a busy wedding season!!
