What do you do when there is a storm coming towards your wedding venue and your coordinator tells you that you have to make the decision about whether to have it at the wildflower garden or under the covered patio? Well if your a helicopter pilot for the Navy…you calculate the wind speed, knots, direction and you make a very informed decision about where to put your guests so that they won’t get poured on, at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens in Norfolk Virginia. This is exactly what Karissa did on her wedding day!
Karissa & Andrew are actually BOTH helicopter pilots for the Navy and they are both SO cool and laid back. These two were easily my easiest going couple this year, so far…and I am blessed with easy going couples! I loved Karissa & Andrew’s pooch, their ability to keep smiling even while being drenched with a monsoon and how they looked at each other all night! It was so much fun to be a part of their wedding! Hope you two had the BEST honeymoon!!
