The minute I met Britney and Acie I knew we were going to get along well. Britney and Acie chose Monumental Church and Old City Bar in downtown Richmond Virginia for their wedding day! Both were super cool venues and these two were super cool, too!
Britney was in total “go with the flow” mode for her wedding day, and her poor Mom was pretty stressed. She had hit herself in the eye with a cork from a champagne bottle while trying to make mimosas for her Daughter. She probably scratched her eye and was really in a lot of pain. But two Tylenol later she was ready to get her Daughter into that wedding gown and see her tie the knot!
Acie is a character. Literally! He is one half of the Professional wrestling duo “Bacon and Eggs!” He was super fun to photograph and he even posed in another photo shoot that was going on while we were touring Richmond.
Together, they are madly in love and it was such a pleasure to be a part of their special day! I loved Britney’s dress (POCKETS!) and I loved that they wanted to drive around Richmond to their favorite spots (where Acie proposed) and Libby Hill Park! And they wanted some cool night shots downtown, too!
