So excited for Emily and Brian…who recently welcomed their First baby, Scott, into the world. I loved their Maternity session at the Pagoda in Norfolk Virginia! (Missed it? Check them out HERE!) Scott had his Mom in labor for a long time and then needed some extra time under the lights because he had some jaundice, but now he is doing GREAT!! Eating lots and growing fast!! I really enjoyed their newborn session, which I shot in their downtown Norfolk home. Brian and Emily have 2 super friendly dogs that are starting to get used to the idea that there is a new baby around. And I loved all the pooch lovin I got there! I also loved that Emily & Brian wanted baby Scott to wear his Grandfather’s Citadel tie. Brian’s Dad, Scott, passed away some years ago, and they named baby Scott after him. Brian also got him an R2D2 outfit, which was hysterical!! When he brought it home several months ago, Emily asked “what if the baby is a Girl?” To which all my Star Wars fans know the answer Brian gave…”then SHE will wear it!!” 🙂 Thanks for the honor of being part of such a special time in your lives!
