Amy Jo and Polly have been together for a long time, and like all people in love they longed to get married and start a Family. When they decided to start trying to get pregnant, they did not have the right to get Married in the state of Virginia. But that did not stop them from dreaming of starting a Family. So, they did their research and decided to forgo the fertility specialist and instead had their Ob/Gyn help them to fulfill their wish of being Parents. Not too long after Polly and Amy Jo found out they were expecting, Virginia legalized same-sex marriage! At their wedding, they told their guests the great news, that soon they would be a Family of 3!!! Polly really loved being pregnant and said that baby Eleanor was sweet to her throughout the pregnancy! Her advice to other people looking to make a baby their own way, is to do your research and be your own advocate. She says it definitely took some work, but was so worth it!! Amy Jo and Polly are wonderful Mothers and I look forward to watching little Eleanor grow! Congratulations you two!! XOXO!!!
