Jess contacted me about doing a Maternity session for her and Justin’s first baby…a boy…that they are naming Thad. The difficulty is that Justin is deployed and has been for most of the pregnancy. Thad is due in January, and Justin is due back sometime later than that. So Jess is toughing it out on her own…and doing an AMAZING job of it too. Not only does she look GREAT, she is in awesome shape, high spirits and so excited to bring little Thad into the world. Justin is keeping tabs on her through all the appropriate channels and gave her a really cool Lego necklace that split apart into two pieces. When they are together it is in the shape of a heart. He also made baby Thad a little monkey at Build a Bear, so I was glad that Jess brought that and his cap along to the session, too! I am looking forward to meeting Thad soon…and hope to meet Justin when he comes home too. As always, I would like to take a moment to tell you both thanks for your sacrifice to our country.
