2 Days until Jay and I depart for Las Vegas and our first trip to WPPI (the Wedding & Portrait Photography Conference). And honestly, I am a mix of conflicting emotion from super excited to downright scared! I am excited to learn lots of new tips and tricks to help take my business to the next level and to become a better photographer…but I am scared. Scared of the unknown, scared to put myself out there and be rejected and scared to hob nob with the Country finest Photographer’s. I am a huge perfectionist…and put a lot of pressure on myself…which is one of the reasons that I can work for myself successfully, but it also makes me feel like I don’t measure up to others sometimes. And I know that I don’t have to compare myself to other photographers…the only people that really have to like me are my clients, but I am still a bundle of nerves. But, I am going to live by our Family motto…which is “Suck it up” and I am going to put on my Big girl panties and a brave face, and I am going to put myself out there. Wish me luck! I will tell you all about it when I get home!
And I sure will miss these two!!
