People I cannot stress enough to you how important it is to document your lives, at least once a year. I hear all the time that “it’s just too expensive to have photos done,” or “when I lose 10 pounds, I will hire you.” In fact, I have said both of these very things myself. But this year, I put my money and my pounds where my mouth is and I saved up and hired The Girl Tyler to document this brief moment spent with 3 people and a dog that I love more than anything in the world. And it was worth every single penny I spent! Not only did we get a ton of GREAT images that I want to plaster all over my house, but we had a FUN experience that we will remember forever! And it wasn’t a perfect session either, Wilbur never likes to be away from me and literally beat Tyler with a tree, we could barely get Truman out of the dumpster and my shirt kind of annoyed me…but in it’s imperfections, Tyler captured who we really are as a Family and that is PRICELESS! All too soon, Morgan will go off to college, Tru to high school and we will never get THIS time back. But because I chose to make this a priority, we will always have this day, captured forever, for all of us to look back on and remember how much we love each other. And honestly…isn’t that worth more than a few dinners out at a restaurant! Thank you Tyler for giving us this gift. It means the world to us! XOXO!
P.S. if you do not know about The Girl Tyler…you should! She is an amazing photographer/videographer and we all LOVE her!!! When Morgan told her she wanted to do an 80’s/90’s rap album cover for our Christmas card…and Jay said hey what about that dumpster…she shook like a little puppy! She was the perfect fit for this shoot with my crazy Family! Thanks Tyler and Martin!
