When Jay and the kids started to ask for a dog…I was definitely the hold out. We hadn’t had a dog in the house for 6 years…my kids were finally old enough to do a lot for themselves…and I didn’t really want something needing my attention all the time! Plus I did NOT want to clean up after a dog! Jay has always wanted an English bulldog and had been watching a local breeder for a little over a year, to see how his puppies turned out. Beach Bulldogges loves their animals and takes great care of them…but they breed Olde English Bullies, not English. Jay did the research…saved up some money and then begged me to “just go and look” at the puppies. Well of course, that was the last straw, and we put our deposit down on Wilbur.
Wilbur has been a WONDERFUL addition to our Family. He is smart, sweet, fun, easy-going, easily trainable, and absolutely adorable!! He loves people and dogs…he even likes the mailman! 🙂 I love spending time with him and enjoy our daily walks, playing soccer in the backyard, and running on the beach…(all of his favorite things!) He is definitely MY pup…and fights with Truman every night about who gets to sit near me on the couch. Wilbur also helped Truman get over his fear of dogs. Now that we have him, I cannot believe we lived without him. He truly is the BEST dog we have ever had. Happy Birthday sweet Wilbur! We LOVE you!!!
