When I first decided to take photos professionally, I practiced ALL THE TIME on my kids! They were super models, and readily available for anything I put them up to. If I had a beach shoot coming up, we would practice it. If we were shooting in the woods, we would practice that. It didn’t matter what the occasion was…my kids early lives were WELL DOCUMENTED!! But now that I shoot a lot of portraits and weddings for other people, I don’t always have time to shoot my kids day-to-day anymore. I do their sports, and big events…but “just because photos” don’t happen like they used to…or it gets captured with my iPhone. So today when Truman came out ready for school wearing the most adorable little Man outfit, we had to do a quick mini session before he left. Luckily he obliged me! I LOVE his red jeans and tie. What a fashion plate!! And I know I am totally biased, but I think he is just the most handsome little thing ever!!
