Jay and I met when we were in college. We were friends for a long time before we started dating. We had been dating about a week, when I had a bad accident. I fell almost 20 feet on to concrete breaking several bones and smacking my head really hard. Since I had to use a walker to get around with my broken pelvis, (super sexy, right??), Jay offered to let me live at his house because my walker did not fit up and down the stairs at my own college home. That was the beginning of the end for us. Jay and I have been together ever since, and I am so thankful that we are. He is seriously my better half. He makes me a better person and I am so lucky that I get to spend my life with my best friend in the whole world. He is the most caring, gentle, kind, sweet, level-headed, thoughtful Man I know.
