Another successful Halloween in the bag…though this year I feel like missed out on so many of our traditions. We were super busy this year…which is a HUGE blessing. But because of all the extras…work, soccer, high school homework, soccer, a puppy, soccer…I feel like I didn’t have the kind of time that we have had in the past to devote to one of my favorite Holiday’s. Usually for Halloween we show a scary movie in the backyard on a big screen and invited a ton of kids to run around eating candy and screaming for all the world to hear. It is a blast! And I am sad that we missed it this year. It is the first time in 7 years that we didn’t do it. Heck, let’s be honest, I barely pulled the decorations out! I did however, take my favorite girls to Hunt Club Farm one night (a yearly tradition). And luckily, Truman decided to make his own costume this year…and Duct Tape Boy was born! We found Wilbur a costume on sale (The Bull Frog) and though his face may look like he doesn’t like it…he DID wear it all night, never once trying to take it off. 🙂 And the highlight of Halloween for me was that Truman, who typically trick-or-treats with his Dad and Papa, asked ME to take him this year…(cause I am more fun!!) <–His words! 🙂 So while I am not Superwoman…and I can’t do it all…we still had a really great time! Hopefully, I will be able to fit more in next year…but if not, I know that my great kids are happy just to enjoy the little things! Thanks Morgan & Truman! Love you two!!
Another tradition…Jeremy always comes over for a pre Trick-or-treat picOur neighbor Ms. Rose & Papa!
