Well another school year comes to an end (*sigh of relief*)! I now have an 8th and 3rd grader chillaxin at home for the next several months. But that is A-OKAY with me. In fact, I LOVE our lazy summer days. Nothing beats getting up without the hustle and bustle of homework and deadlines, projects and soccer practice. We get beach days, slushies, road trips, wind in our hair, sand in our toes, movies in the backyard, catching fireflies, staying up late, sleepovers…the possibilities are endless.
The kids worked hard this year and they deserve a break, but Mom and Dad worked hard, too…and so do we!!! So here’s to summer and whatever it brings. Congratulations to Morgan and Truman for being great students…making honor roll every semester…Morgan even earned 3 High School credits this year. Dad and I are super proud of you both. You ROCK! Rest up….because school is almost here again! 🙂
