Well it’s that time of year, again! When I break out all the embarrassing photos of me and all the AMAZING people who worked for me this year to make sure that EVERY Leigh Skaggs Photography wedding went off flawlessly…even if it really didn’t!! Being a wedding photographer is not always an easy job. It is a happy day and everyone looks beautiful and is in a great mood, but emotions run high and sometimes it is a little chaotic! Through all of that, it is my job to create calm within the tornado that can be a wedding day! And I absolutely LOVE it!! And I LOVE the people who work for me! Starting with Jay, who is an amazing assistant and photographer. He is great at capturing the Bride’s expression during a wedding and also knowing when I will need something…even if I said I wouldn’t. Megan, who makes me laugh and keeps ME sane, and is so good at anticipation that she is handing me things before I even ask for them! Alisz, who went and moved so we didn’t get to work together too much this year, but when we did, we had a blast! I LOVE this Woman and she is doing AMAZING things!! We had a few new assistants start this year…I think you will be seeing more of them next year…Mallory, who did a GREAT job and was so fun to work with and Niki, who is a former Bride with a ton of potential! And last, but certainly not least, Morgan…my Daughter! She went on LOTS of Family, Senior, and Children’s shoots with me this year. She likes to play with the animals and is really good at pulling outfits together! She is also super helpful at the shoots and I have loved having her work with me this year!
