I LOVE Naval Retirements. They are full of emotion, tradition and custom. Watching a person being piped over the side to bring an end to their distinguished career while listening to “The Watch” be read, or hearing “Old Glory” be read while the flag is lovingly passed from one soldier to another, or hearing “The Navy Wife” read to a Woman that has been making sacrifices for our Country for over 20 years, makes for some strong emotions. Thank you Evan for your service and Sacrifice to our Country. I know Thank you isn’t quite enough, but my Family appreciates everything your Family has given for our Country.
