When Stephanie and Ryan contacted me about being their wedding photographer, they told me they were very interested in doing their engagement session at their Alma Mater, Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia! I jumped at the chance to do something different! I absolutely LOVE when my clients make the session personalized to them AND take me to NEW places!! As we got closer to their date, they told me of a winery that they love, too, called Beliveau Estate Winery, that has lavender fields…and I died!! On the day of our shoot, it rained the whole way to Blacksburg…but when we got there it stopped! We looked around Lane Stadium and found a door that did not have a padlock on it, which I am sure someone left open for our session!! 🙂 So we made our way on to the field. Stephanie and I were a little hesitant, but Jay and Ryan were psyched!! After shooting all around the stadium, we headed to the winery, which was beautiful!
We loved Ryan and Stephanie, who are so in love and honestly on of the sweetest couples I have met…ever!! When we got done with our shoot, we shared a glass of wine looking over the beautiful rolling hills and just enjoyed getting to know each other better! I cannot wait for their wedding next June! It’s going to be EPIC!!
