I have known Erika since she was in elementary school. Yes, I said elementary school!!! She has always been a wonderful person, full of happiness, all smiles and willing to help anyone in need. She even saved Jay and my lives once…ask her about it… 🙂 So to be asked to photograph her wedding is not only completely surreal…but the most HUGE honor I could ever ask for!! Erika and Dakotah met at school. She was on crutches after having knee surgery, and when he saw her for the first time, he thought she was so beautiful. They didn’t see each other again for a couple of days…and when they did they watched a movie together and found that they totally “clicked!” Dakotah has recently joined the Army, and was home from boot camp for the Holidays. Erika and Dakotah LOVE amusement parks, so when they suggested Busch Gardens in Williamsburg Virginia for their engagement session, I was 100% in!! I even got to ride Verbolten for the first time. We had a blast!! I can’t wait for their April wedding!!
