When we started our Engagement session at First Landing State Park, I was just a little worried. Marley got out of the truck and told me that neither of them liked to have their photo taken…that it made them uncomfortable. I totally understand this, because I HATE to have my photo taken. I always turn out looking like Sloth from the Goonies. But she and Dave were very adamant that they weren’t good at it. Luckily, with-in the first few minutes I quickly saw how easily they smiled and interacted with one another and I knew they were going to be just fine!! And by the end, when we got the Paddle Boards into the VERY WINDY water…they were pros!! I love that they brought their Paddle Boards to the session because it is something they love to do. I wish the weather had been more cooperative…it was so windy at one point I thought Marley might get blown away while trying to carry her board. But we still had a lot of fun and I am so excited to shoot their wedding in October! Thanks again for the great evening you two!!
