I have been lucky enough to photograph this Family since Keegan was a just a baby. Now he will be starting First grade in the Fall. It is always my pleasure to watch a Family grow over the years. But it really helps increase the likelihood that the session will be a success, too. Keegan and Aidan know we are going to have fun on our shoots, cause we always have fun on our shoots. So when they come to a session with me, they come relaxed and ready to have a good time. We do some posed shots, we run around, we make silly faces, we throw pine cones at imaginary alligators…whatever it takes to keep it fun. But as they grow up they come with their own ideas, and I totally embrace them. This year, Keegan was interested in taking photos as well as posing for them…so he got to do that, too. Aidan told me all about how big the alligator in the water might be and found some worms to play with, so we incorporated that. Whatever your kids are into, I am too! It changes over the years, but it is always fun for me to get a small amount of time to watch them grow. change and mature. Thanks Barry’s for allowing me to spend that time with Keegan and Aidan. It truly means the world to me! 🙂
