I am totally trying to catch up! I swear! The purge that is my 2011 life continues. So I am finally sharing Morgan and Truman’s Christmas photos! Every year about November, I beg, threaten, plead, guilt, ask my kids to model for me for Christmas presents. I give these to Grandparents and Great Grandparents, and usually even print a few for me. (You might be surprised to know that I am way behind on printed, framed photos of my OWN children). And this year was no different. We took full advantage of a free day from school and the gorgeous fall foliage we had this season and ran out to Chesapeake’s Oak Grove Lake park. This accomplished two things for me that day…Christmas photos were finished, and the kids and I walked a mile and a half! Everybody wins!
I am in awe of how much Morgan has grown this year. She is really becoming such a beautiful young Woman with an interesting view of the world and a unique sense of style (these photos do not reflect that) . She is so funny, brilliant, quick-witted and sure of herself and I really love spending time listening to her middle school stories. Truman is my sweet, sensitive child and is always up for some good snuggle time with Mom. I cherish the time I get to spend with each of them, and look forward to seeing what 2012 brings to us all.
